1 way to be AML Complaint – Due Diligence Investigations!

Due Diligence Investigations

Uncover AML risks before they unfold

At Intelect, we deliver investigator-led due diligence investigations (CDD & EDD) that help compliance officers, investigators, and risk teams uncover hidden exposures before they become liabilities.

Our reports combine human intelligence with advanced technology to reveal reputational, financial, and regulatory risks, empowering organisations to act with confidence.

Independent, Confidential, and Actionable Intelligence

Trusted by clients across sectors, from financial institutions and legal practices to multinational corporations, Intelect provides independent, confidential, and regulator-ready intelligence.

We support key decisions in:

  • Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance
  • Mergers and acquisitions (M&A)
  • Third-party and supplier onboarding
  • Executive and partner vetting

Each investigation delivers verified, context-rich insight, not just data, so that you can make informed, defensible decisions that align with your compliance obligations.

Our Investigator-Led Approach

Our team is composed of seasoned investigators with backgrounds in AML compliance, political exposure (PEP) analysis, forensic research, and digital investigations.

We combine technology and expert judgment to identify red flags that automated systems often miss. Using advanced tools including Investigation Engine and proprietary databases, we identify & map complex relationships, surface hidden connections, and assess risk exposure from every angle.

Because our specialists have also trained professionals worldwide in due diligence and open-source intelligence (OSINT) techniques, our methods remain at the leading edge of compliance investigation practice.

What Our Due Diligence Reports Include

A standard Customer Due Diligence (CDD) report includes:

  • Adverse media and open-source intelligence searches
  • Company and directorship checks
  • Sanctions and PEP screening
  • Social media and reputational reviews
  • Structured risk assessment scoring

For higher-risk profiles or complex jurisdictions, our Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) and bespoke investigations provide expanded analysis, relationship mapping, and deep-web intelligence.

All reports are delivered securely through our encrypted client portal and can be tailored to meet specific regulatory or audit requirements.

What is the difference between CDD and EDD?

Customer Due Diligence (CDD) is the baseline screening and verification. Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) is deeper, used for higher risk relationships and may include network mapping, adverse media and asset tracing.

How long does a typical Due Diligence investigation take?

Desk-based CDD reports are often delivered within 1–3 business days; EDD or bespoke investigations depend on complexity and jurisdiction but we’ll confirm timing with you in the scoping call.

Do you provide regulator-grade reports suitable for audits?

Yes, we deliver documented, verifiable reports suitable for compliance records and audits.

How much is a report?

Our minimum price for a report is £500 plus VAT (if applicable) prices rise dependent on complexity, scope and time taken.

How do I know that I can trust you with confidential information?

We are registered with the UK Information Commissioners Office and take our Data Protection obligations seriously. We use an encrypted system to share our reports with you and if you require further assurances we are more than happy to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement.
